Holy Cross Chair Joins Stadium Performance

Stadium Performance continues to diversify, adding experienced financial expert John Mahoney to the SP Advisory Board. John brings unparalleled leadership and guidance to the Stadium Performance team. Defined by humility, family, and faith, John encompasses the values of our culture.

John J. Mahoney, is the current Chair of the Holy Cross Board of Trustees. John recently retired after spending 16 years at Staples, Inc., most recently as the Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. John served as Partner with Ernst & Young LLP, where he served in various capacities in its national office, in its accounting and auditing groups from 1975 to 1996. He serves as a Trustee of Catholic Charitable Bureau Of The Archdiocese Of Boston Inc. He served as a Director of Zipcar Inc., from 2010 to 2013 and served as its Lead Director. John is a board member for Chico’s Stores FAS, The Michaels Companies, and The Burlington Stores respectively. John and his wife Rose have been involved in arts and civic activities both in their home town and in the greater community and have take active leadership roles in Boston philanthropic circles raising the profile and funds for a number of deserving charities including Mass Mentoring and the Ireland Fund. The New England Province of Jesuits presented the Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam Award to John and Rose in April 2013. The award honors those who have made a difference in the world by generously helping others. John holds an MBA from Northeastern University, as well as an undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
